Deepika Padukone Breaks Into Dance As Mame Khan Croons Rajasthani Folk Song ‘Ghoomar’ At Cannes


Actress Deepika Padukone, who recently attended the 2022 Cannes Jury Dinner, is turning heads with a new video of her alongside other celebrities, including Urvashi Rautela, Tamannaah Bhatia and Pooja Hegde, are all seen on the dance floor as popular singer Mame Khan sings Rajasthani folk song.

First official appearance of Deepika Padukone at the prestigious film festival which started on May 17, 2022 made headlines as photos and videos of the 36-year-old actress from the event were released by online media. The actress was seen wearing a Louis Vuitton dress paired with brown boots for the jury dinner.

The Gehraiyaan actress unveiled a new look for the second day of the Cannes Film Festival. After showing off her traditional, desi side in a black and gold saree for the Cannes 2022 opening ceremony, the actress opted to don an all-black power suit. She completed her powerful yet elegant look with a silver panther head choker adorned with emerald stones. The diva once again styled her hair in a messy hairstyle with crimson lips.

Deepika Padukone is part of the eight-member jury of the 75th Cannes Film Festival, who inaugurated the India Pavilion today at Marche’ Du Film, along with Anurag Thakur, the Union’s Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Youth and Sports, according to reports. Apart from making India proud, the Chhapaak actress has also said that there will be a time when Cannes takes place in India.

Apparently, Tamannaah Bhatia, Pooja Hegde, Urvashi Rautela, Shekhar Kapur, Prasoon Joshi, AR Rahman, Ricky Kej, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and others from the Indian film industry were present at the India pavilion launch.
