Delmarva Public Media will broadcast live from the 81st National Folklore Festival

Delmarva Public Media will once again broadcast live from the TidalHealth stage the three-day National Folk Festival on stations WSDL 90.7 and WESM 91.3.

This service allows festival fans who cannot attend in person to tune in on their radios or online at

Since the first year of the National Folk Festival in Salisbury in 2018, Delmarva Public Media has been a partner and media sponsor of the event.

Artists scheduled to perform on the TidalHealth stage include Eileen Ivers, Los Texmaniacs feat. La Marisoul, Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas, Dale Ann Bradley, EU with Sugar Bear, and many more.

This year’s National Folk Festival will mark the final year of the event’s residency. In 2023, the festival will transition to the Maryland Folk Festival in Salisbury.

The National Folk Festival strives to present the best traditional artists in the country. Musical and dance traditions from all parts of the country are represented – blues, rockabilly, gospel, jazz, polka, tamburitza, cowboy, bluegrass, klezmer, R&B, old-time, cajun, rhythm and blues, mariachi, beatbox, breakin ‘, western swing, honky-tonk, and zydeco, as well as traditional music and dance from Native American, Celtic, Acadian, Middle Eastern, Caribbean, East Asian, Appalachian, Latino, Eastern European cultures. East, West Africa and the Pacific Islands, among others.
