NC Folk Festival Releases Free Downtown Greensboro Festival Schedule Next Month | Entertainment

GREENSBORO — The North Carolina Folk Festival released its 2022 calendar and map on Tuesday.

The free three-day festival in September also features music, food and other cultural activities. Festival attendees can purchase a variety of handicrafts, including pottery, jewelry, and clothing.

The festival cuisine will include Mediterranean, Jamaican, Salvadoran, Indian dishes and more, according to a press release.






The annual North Carolina Folk Festival takes place September 9-11 in downtown Greensboro.

Sponsors include Cone Health, which “believes in the power of the arts to heal and inspire,” Cone Health spokesman Chuck Wallington said in a press release.
