The world is full of extremely talented people and although we find it hard to step onto the dance floor, this Rajasthani woman has gone viral for performing a folk dance while skating. Dressed in a traditional Rajasthani lehenga and heavy jewelry, this woman named Krishna Kanwar Gahlot took to the dance floor at a cultural event in Udaipur and delivered a breathtaking dance performance. His footsteps elicited loud cheers from those in the room. Krishna finished his performance with folded hands as she accepted the audience’s appreciation. The video was originally posted by Instagram user Twinkal Baisa and has since been shared online on multiple social media platforms.

Since it was uploaded, the video has received nearly 52,000 views as well as several comments from Instagram users. By posting their reactions, users praised Krishna for his dancing and balancing skills. “Would love to attend and meet her,” wrote one user expressing desire to watch Krishna’s performance live

While some praised her for connecting to roots, others posted fire and heart emojis to share their reactions.

The caption shared with the video informed that Krishna is a professional skater and holds many national and international records in her name. She has been actively participating in skating events from a young age and is a national level medalist. When she was only six years old, she covered a distance of 110 kilometers between Udaipur and Chittor on skates. She then skated 750 kilometers to travel from Udaipur to Delhi in 9 days to pay tribute to the Indian military and raise awareness about the girls’ education campaign. Krishna was fortunate enough to meet Prime Narendra Modi for his efforts and was even praised by the Indian army. She won a bronze medal at the National Level Skating Championship hosted by the Indian Roller Skating Federation in 2018.
